Over 350 billion rubles invested in the West Anabar oil and gas field in Yakutia
It is planned that this field will become the basis for the development of the oil and gas cluster.
More than 350 billion rubles will be invested in the development of the West Anabar oil and gas field in Yakutia. This was announced on Saturday by a member of the board of directors of the Tuymaada-Neft oil company which owns the license for the field Valeriy Tyan.
«The West Anabarskoye field is located in the north of Yakutia. Land area – 1654 square kilometers. According to geological exploration, the estimated reserves of the license area amount to 290 million tons of oil and 16.3 billion cubic meters of gas, if we take into account deposits of different time and depth. The total investment in the development of the field is 357 billion rubles», – said Tyan at the presentation of investment projects of the Far East at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF).
It is planned that this field will become the basis for the development of the oil and gas cluster. «It is planned to produce 12 million tons of oil a year. Oil deliveries are planned to be carried out via the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline transport along the northern sea route to Europe and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region», – he added.
In the town of Aldan in the south of Yakutia, it is planned to build an oil refinery worth 138 billion rubles. «We conducted a rationale for investments, signed a declaration of intent, passed a public hearing, received a land plot. A feasibility study and a strategic investor search are underway. The processing capacity is 2 million tons of raw materials per year», – Tyan added.
